Not much going on...
Not much going on atm. Strife doing fine, we still own Hiene. No wars or enemy either, shocking I know. I guess a few BP are fighting on FV beach but I try to avoid FV. I have learned it is pointless and it is alot more rewarding for me to own my enemy in TOI while they are trying to hunt.

Not much else is new. I am recruiting and playing my prince as my main for a bit Benching the mage for a while until fighting starts up again or something. I would play a DE but I don't feel like getting nerfed down the road as they are too godly at the moment but that is just my opinion. So anyway, prince seems fun, hella weak but their self buffs are strong if i make it to 55+. That is about it I guess.

Sorry thats it but can't really update much when not much going on.

You do? How so? Oh wait that is right...everyone thinks every mage has 31SP and destroy...AND at the same time they assume every non mage person has 50MR which makes mage always win. Yeah your right I guess.

I'm sick of people bitching about DEs...

mages are the best...at EVERYTHING (not complaining just stating a fact here)

mages are best hunters (summons), best healers (obviously), best pvp, become tanks at high lvls (higher MR better heal), and the best lvlers

thankfully most of my friends are mages :)

If you assume that this game is always 1 on 1...then possibly yes. That is far from the reality of what this game really is though.

A wis de can have just as much MR as a wis mage basically as well.

Let's get one thing straight. Mage has one place to hunt in the whole game to level up, 51+. Every other class has basically ANYWHERE else in the game. And yes there are many TOI floors that knights and DE's can level just as fast on. Don't tell me mage has it easy. Mage is overpowered? no not even close. They are versitile, yes. Anyone with decent MR(not even 100%) can resist a mage casting. What, 1% of the mage population has destroy? you can't just look at the lucky ones... look at the average. I hate you, yes, but this is too everyone that bashes mage's

i'm not a fan of golden either but just a lil info for ur noob mage...

with the new introduction of mage spells, overtime, they have become very good tanks. (adv, immune, absolute barrier) with lvl and skill they can fight quite easily when outnumbered.

lvling only 51+???
its where they get the MOST xp...by MOST, not only for mage class but more than another other class in the game. mage can hunt anywhere and with their newer spells some areas with less risk then other classes.

pvp without 100mr vs mage...gl
if u have 140-150 ur pretty safe. ur talking less then 100mr, have fun with that vs destroy.

don't compare low lvl characters...
i'm speaking from my experience with 52+ characters, some 60+ 65+
mage, knight, de and elf. they all have their strengths and weaknesses.

ok maybe I wasn't clear but I said mages are versitile. Yea they can hunt anywhere in the game most likely. When It comes down to it thought myself and many others only care about EXP. That's why I threw out the whole "51 is the only place to hunt". Cause thats the only place a mage can get good exp, that I know of.

Back to the MR thing. I guess you should point out these godly lev 52+ mage's you seem to be talking about. I've tanked 52+ mage's without immune and low 60's MR on a knight(no pot bug). Then you crack out the whole disinegrate spell. 52+ mage's must be the highest ammount of DK's on the server. Like I said before, what, 1% of those 52+ mages have disintegrate??????????????!

Don't even complain about immune. You know you love that spell and you will one day beg your pledge mate to cast it on you. I'm going to predict your future... you will soon kill someone that isn't immuned while you are... and then talk smack to him like they are weak. You will then procede to log-in to the Lineage boards shorty after not being able to kill someone because they have immune on and complain about it.

The only reason you are pissed is because Dranno probably killed you. He is the only mage that I've seen with great skill on this server. You can't use 1 mage to support your theory. You gotta look at the average.

I can dance all day just keep throwing stuff out.

interesting theories. :)

comparing xp places vs melee characters is basically the same.
with all the changes, much harder for new mages starting out but extremely ez for higher lvl mages with more int.

i don't question ur story about tanking some 52+ mage. jut realize
some mages can deal 600dmg+ on 60mr with 1 destroy. BUT, they don't need destroy vs 60mr they could outdmg ur pot pumping or
decay pot or para, etc..

i'm not pissed at or about dranno (i wish he kept lvling). i'm just shocked to hear a mage call a de 'godly'. dranno once killed a 2ndary char of mine, in siege zone. i got on my main and venz him over and over again. that was our only conflict over the years. :P

like i said b4, my statements were based on my experiences...from the way you were talking it sounded like the many other comments i've seen on the lineage boards from lvl 48 49 players who don't understand how pvp goes down in real wars.

funny story about immune. :)
fyi i do go on killing sprees, i don't post on lineage boards ;)

have to agree with cutter...mages lvl faster than any class once they are 52-55. 51+ beats the shit out of solo FI, 24, 34, abyss lake. if u are fighting a 52+ mage with a de and your mr is 60% AND you win...then that mage has no concept of pvp. destoy is a perk for mages but not very needed as most destroy mages get more than 50% of kills after they are chao. meteor is quite impressive if used correctly.

i play dep btw 61knight 59elf 54de 60+mage(destroy)
